EVBAT at ECOMONDO 2025: Showcasing Sustainable Battery Solutions for the L-cat EV Market

Our partners, Amrutha Ramajani from HYBA and Nidhiben Arvindbhai Patel from RTU IESE, will present the EVBAT project at the EIT RawMaterials booth, Hall D8 – Stand 212, on December 5, during Ecomondo 2025.

EVBAT is driving sustainable mobility with a target of 30% reduction in CO emissions across the battery value chain. By facilitating recycling and reusing of batteries, the project aims to save 50% of lithium and cobalt, equivalent to 474 tons of lithium and 71 tons of cobalt by year 4. The Riga Technical University’s Institute of Energy Systems and Environment (IESE) assesses the environmental impact and guides eco-design improvements, ensuring the project delivers measurable sustainability benefits.
